Dear Mr. Foster, Jr.,
My name is Gina and I am a teacher, my husband Joseph is a police officer by trade, also a National Guardsman for the army. He was deployed to Iraq in January 2004 and returned home safely in August just in time for our September wedding. With all the stress and changes that we have endured this year, we wanted to take the time to let you know about a very special person that you have on your team. This person took what could have been another stressful event in our lives and made it into a joyous pursuit for a home.
Her name is Meg Crossett and in the Centreville Virginia Office. Meg worked with my husband and I from the start to learn what we were looking for in a new home. We also needed to sell our old home, which Meg handled.
For the sale of our old home Meg assessed the market and our home and determined a list price, simultaneously she noted areas of improvement that were needed to make the best sale possible. Once the house was listed we had a great deal of “foot traffic” and then a sale, for our asking price.
Additionally, she spent hours e-mailing and calling us to keep us apprised of our options. After a long search for the right neighborhood, reasonable commute to work, architecture style which also needed to be within our budget, she found the home we had been dreaming of for so long. Meg showed us a beautiful three bedroom, 2.5 baths in a quaint neighborhood only three miles from our old house.
She made sure that the home inspection was in place, she even noticed that the furnace was thirty years old (before the inspection) and suggested that we ask for a warranty on the furnace for our protection, along with arranging all the documentation to go to closing without a hitch.
Meg’s time, dedication and devotion to our plight was charged by her ability to get to know us as a couple, and what was really important to us in out selection of a home, not just a house. We have Meg to thank for her tireless effort, support, and hard work even through the double closings on the old house and the new home the same day.
Four months later we have a wonderful yard for our three dogs, and a beautiful porch and patio for summer entertaining, and the third bedroom for our first child to arrive early in July. We can not thank Meg enough for her hard work and her exquisite knowledge of real estate.
Sincerely Your Truly Satisfied Customers,
Gina & Joe.
